Do anyone know where the idea of the lollipop switch levers came from and were they used on something else before Tucker used them on his car. I know it is similar to Cord but where the lollipops come from?

Are you talking about the white ones on the left side or the shifter knob? The ones on the left were an aircraft idea or so ive heard and makes sense due to Alex using ideas of aircraft on the Tucker I believe they were made by amphnoil or some name like that.

What kind of machine were they used on before? They look like some levers for a machine at a machine shop.

I'd be willing to bet that they're Cord in origin, as the instrument panel shows a strong Cord influence.
